No Longer Squished

Finally! Why do men think that they need more space than me? There have been so many times that I have been on the bus and had to shrink myself for the guy sitting next to me and while he sits their comfortably I am squished and feel awkward and annoyed! Enjoy the picture and article!

Mission

I have created this blog to advocate for the modern feminist (men and women) because more often than not I find that people are not well versed on the subject and what it means to be a feminist. Feminist advocate for equal rights for all and acknowledge that men and women are not treated equally in society. I hope to make the word "Feminism" not so scary and to show you what feminism is really all about. I do all of this in hopes that there will be one more person out there advocating for a cause that is highly misunderstood.

About Me

Hi! My name is Kourtney. I am a Gig Harbor girl at heart just trying to find my way in this big ole world. This is my fourth year at Western and I will be graduating next year. When its all said and done I will graduate with a BA in Communications grouped with a Business minor, Spanish minor and hopefully (fingers crossed!) an Event Coordinating minor. Planning and coordinating events is my passion I can't get enough of it and i hope to have my own Event Planning company one day. In the mean time I keep busy with school, work and hanging out with my wonderful family and friends.
